The MLS* Teen Anime Club (aka MTAC) is an after-school teen social program devoted to otaku culture (manga, anime, and video games). The club meets every other Friday afternoon and take part in activities such as Otaku Pictionary, Video Game Jams, Otaku Cranium, Anime Screenings, Manga Drawing Jams, Otaku-related crafts, and more!

WANTED: MANGA REVIEWS!!!

Who's to say you have to wait till the next club meeting to tell your friends about a hot, new Manga title you've been reading?

Get your Manga book reviews posted on this blog! Simply find an awesome Manga title/volume you'd like to share and send them to me at jason.loo@mississauga.ca to be posted. Every reviewer will get a prize from the Manga grab bag.
Looking forward to seeing those reviews.

(NEW TIMESLOT) Club Meetings in February

Hey fellow club members,

Hope you all had an awesome time during your holidays and plenty of big presents!
Our club meetings are now at a new timeslot. Mark these two dates off your calendar.

Friday February 6th, 3:30-5pm Central Library, 2nd Floor, Room CL1
Friday February 20th, 3:30-5pm Central Library, 2nd Floor, Room CL1


Spread the word to your friends, our meetings now happen after school every other Friday (TGIF!)

We're going to continue watching episodes of Wolf's Rain, Manga-chatting, Manga-swapping, and Wii-Action.
We still have some more prizes to give out from the grab bag filled with dvds, Manga, artbooks, and magazines like Shonen Jump! Whoever brings a new friend to the meeting can win themselves a prize.
